Made by Artist R.A. Riege, this beautiful & unique art is made of handmade paper embossed with impressions of seven (7) Ancient Greek city states honoring women of importance in Greek society. These women were both Goddesses & prominent historical female Greek figures. They include: Hera, Queen Demarete, Aphrodite, Arethusa, Persophone, Parthenon, & Artemis. Each of the seven cameos is distinct and beautifully rendered. A custom frame in silver gold finishes off the art beautifully.. The artist included a detailed write/up on the back and titled the piece “Wonder Women”. In very good vintage condition. Very cool! Very unique! Hellenic coin art.
