Unique Vintage Two Tone Lightweight Metal Elephant Statue Figurine Wood Base

Have you been looking for something unique to give the elephant lover in your life? This wonderful estate find may be perfect! This happy elephant with trunk up (and adorably curled at the end) appears to be crafted from two-tone lightweight metal, and then affixed to an L-shaped wooden base (which has velvet attached to the bottom to protect your shelf). He would do well as a single bookend at the far side of a shelf, or as a stand-alone lucky elephant to bring positive feng shui to your home. In spite of intensive attempts to research this smiling guy, I have not been able to locate another example, so he may be a one-of-a-kind hand crafted piece. Good vintage condition; some tarnish evident, particularly in one spot on his ear (see photo), and there is one small divot void in the base (see photo).
