Unique Egyptian carved scarab beetle pendant necklace.

this came in a lot I bought at an estate sale years back. it's very unique. I've not seen one like it before. I'm not sure what the beetle is carved out of. I'm guessing some sort of stone. there are no markings that I've seen on the piece. the pendent measures approximately 1 1/2 inches x 3/4 inch. it's fairly large. good quality. has some weight to it as well. the chain its on is collar length. the bar isn't stationary, it moves freely along the chain. as does the pendent. a really neat one of a kind statement piece, that'll get ya lots of compliments as well!!
