Hello. No discoloration. It must be a trick of the lighting on the shiny material. You can see in the first photo, it shows the same area as the fifth photo and it's normal.

@blixjohnson I bought another ultra light down vest in a different color in I think 2020, and it's a lot less puffy than this one, about a third less.
