Ungaro Haute Couture Evening Skirt Suit

A gorgeous Emanuel Ungaro from the Autumn-Winter 1989 Haute Couture Collection, this evening suit is in immaculate condition and was created for my mother-in-law by one of her favorite fashion designers (and personal friend), Emanuel Ungaro. My mother-in-law shopped predominately at Ungaro and Chanel, resulting in fabulous well preserved finds like this beauty! The skirt zips and hooks closed on the side, the lace is embellished with rhinestones and crystals that catch the light, and the blazer has 3 beautiful bejeweled outer buttons and 3 hidden snap buttons underneath. Form fitted, powerful and feminine, this is a rare find indeed!!! Fits like a US 12. Made in France, purchased in Paris. Ungaro Parallele, his pret-a-porter line was created in 1968 and his house was run independently until 1996.
