From Undercover's Talking Heads themed Spring Summer collection of 2013, this jacket features all the design sensibilities you'd expect from Jun. The leather buttons he used for several seasons started here, which, along with the side entry hip pockets and shrunken patch pocket and length, really draw this down away from work and towards drinks after work, the way you would expect a cotton black watch jacket to be. The normally-vestigial lapel button hole can actually be buttoned up, which pops the collar revealing nylon lining. The jacket is short in body, has no buttons on the sleeves and features double vents, both also secured with leather buttons. It's half-lined, making it a great choice for spring when everything seems wonderful and you're no longer being constantly ghosted on dating apps. You can even share with your date the lyrics to your new favorite Talking Heads tune, Heaven, the lyrics of which are on a label stitched inside. I've had some great times with this jacket, wearing it all over. It's in surprisingly good condition for the work I got out of it - your favorite Japanese second hand shop would be hard pressed to find fault. Unfortunately, I had better times doing shoulder press so I should probably give up on my dreams of this ever fitting again.
