It has been to ballets, fancy dinner parties, Christmas parties…it is fun & flirty, but comfortable too. It is a large, but it would easily work for size 10-18. It is meant to fit loose and flowing, and the arms are roomy too. It hits above the knee in the front, but is a little longer in the back. LOVE this dress!!!
