@ritarobinson45 hi there. the 42" is the length and this is an over the head style with no zipper. there is drawstrings at the waistband to tighten it.

@amberelisibeth thank you for the quick response! Do you know what the waist is not tied with the ties? Looks like the bust would fit. Is it a loose fitting dress? I hate tight fitting dresses lol and thankfully this doesn’t have a zipper lol 😂 thank you!

@ritarobinson45 it is loose fitting. its certainly more of a boho/prairie look so its not supposed to be a tight dress. the waist (without using the waist ties) is just shy of 17" across
