Ugly Circus Horse

My mother insists that this horse is *not* haunted, but my sister and I disagree. Brightly colored Circus Horse Planter Vase by National Potteries Co. (Made in Japan) Gifted to my grandmother in 1957 after the birth of her first child. Hand painted - there are a few flaws - and the red saddle is chipping off.
