heckl26 @naomiae Hi there! I guess it would depend how wide your foot is? I am in between sizes and tend to be more of an 8.5 in boots so these are a little snug on me. I would say they are a true size 8 but not super wide so a really thick sock would only work for someone with a more narrow foot. I'm sure they can be broken in more too though since they haven't been really worn much. Hope that helps!

heckl26 @morganshelton20 Hi there! No, the Zippers are fully functional. That is just how the leather lays on the zipper at the bottom. It is like this on both boots. Hope that helps!
