USS SALAMONIE Navy Jacket

Vintage, real naval history jacket. Last name of soldier embroidered on the right chest (FAY). USS SALAMONIE with anchor embroidered on the left. Two awesome, original patches on each arm sleeve. “Shellback” on the right (awesome red, blue and silver threading)and the AO-26 ships patch in black and gold on the left. This jacket has been worn in service so has wearing, chipping on the metal snap buttons, discolorations of the navy blue color and the liner is tattered. However; the patches are simply beautiful/colorful and pristine for the age! The last pic shows this ship was a oiler and was in service from 1940-1968. I will ship fast from my smoke/pet free home.
