USPS 25 Yr Service Pin

This small pin is about 1/2". I bought it about 20 years ago to use for a gift making project for a United States postal service worker. I never did anything with it and it's been sitting in my jewelry craft supplies. I don't believe it's Sterling silver, but definitely a silver metal. Background is a matte finish silvertone. Raised capitalized script bordering the edge "United States Postal Service". Artwork of an American eagle, underscore, "U S. MAIL" underscore and "25" to signify the years of employee service. Bottom rounded corner lineup of 5-pointed stars. I believe this pin is a much older design, possibly no longer awarded for employee recognition. Excellent unused Vintage condition. Standard rolling clasp pin backing. I will come back and edit this with a photo of the back side.
