Presented here is a collection of wartime US cents spanning the years 1943 through 1945. In the top row in the picture provided, 1943 steel cents were produced to let copper resources go to the war effort. The bottom row shows shell case copper cents from the years 1944 through 1945 with the variouis mints noted. All are enclosed in a mylar sleeve to protect them.
