US Coast Guard Button Earrings Clip On Military

Size: 1/2" x 1" Condition: Excellent - Vintage Clip-on earrings stamped "Waterbury Button Co." on the back. I believe custom made from authentic Coast Guard uniform buttons. Waterbury Button Co. has been in business and producing military buttons since the early 1800s. They offer many finishes and I believe these are pewter. I do not know the material of the clips - they are costume. They were originally shank buttons and you can see marks were shank was removed.
