After over a year of blood work , ultrasounds and testing on my little man : it all came back normal EXCEPT these nasty lympnodes ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ
Besides the huge lymp nodes becoming clustered and staying large and never shrinking,
being a mother and not a doctor this has been super nerve wracking but after talking with our surgeon we have decided to wait on his biopsy
because the surgeon and his primary care doc both think itโs best to wait โฆ. They both tell my itโs way to invasive & since heโs gaining weight now and doing great on everything, they think itโs not reasonable, They said the chances of nerve damage and discomfort isnโt worth it being that he has no other symptoms of anything serious as of now โฆ..
So we are really just playing a waiting game and hoping these donโt grow any bigger and no other symptoms appear & maybe over time shrink ๐ฃ๐๐ป

@sns_b I'll check for the video in the morning, it's not uploaded yet. The surgeon had to kill nerve endings on my daughters lip before they cut off excess muscle and tissue, then stitched her lip up from inside to minimize scarring. I was extremely nervous about nerve damage, but we were fortunate

@sns_b First of all... what amazing news... bloodwork good โ๏ธ and his weight and health seemingly better โ๏ธ, that's incredible!! I can't imagine the overwhelming weight of emotions that you had to deal with during and after this news. I had a similar experience with one of my daughters and she had a growth like that removed from her thyroid. ๐ I am so glad to read that your baby boy is doing better ๐

@sns_b Yes they biopsy it and it was benign. I guess these things happen and they don't always have a good explanation for it. Her recovery went really really well actually.

@metamorphoasis itโs definitely weird . Not sure how far back but I have two other listings on when everything started . He was pouring blood from his bottom for a year ! Found polup or however theyโre spelled. He was like 2 1/2 maybe three when he had surgery to get that taken out and thatโs when everything else started

@metamorphoasis Iโm already a believer in Christ, I got saved as a teen when I got pregnant with my first daughter because I almost aborted her and I felt the lord speak to me after I cried out God I donโt know what to do . So i had really long talks with God , bartering mostly lol out of desperation. Lots of worship music and loving the kids extra everyday in realizing that everything has an ending even the best things in the world ๐ฃ๐ญ

@metamorphoasis I drove myself nuts with worry though. Honestly. I would meet kids when we were in the childrens hospital doing testing and I would feel so guilty for begging for mine Iโd leave crying for those families ๐๐ I hate that bad things happen to innocent babies

@metamorphoasis itโs been a shaky year tho lol now that the kids are doing okay I have been having more seizures ๐ซฃ SO now my mri shows more lesions, white matters in front and back hypertension something, I see my specialist Nov 1st to see whatโs going on . It seems like ever since Covid everything and everyoneโs bodyโs are out of whack ! So here we go with another faith trial lol

@sns_b Oh.my.gosh... lesions??? Do you have MS? I have several overlapping autoimmune diseases and see my second neurosurgeon in January. I'm a little familiar. My goodness... I feel like I was meant to see this today. I'm my sorry you're going through this:(

@metamorphoasis i have ALL the symptoms of ms . Sharp body pains , body jolts , seizures . Clumsy. Super forgetful, vision loss randomly I went completely blind for 2min only seen black ! Scariest thing Iโd ever done ect but literally no ms on brain .

@sns_b Hmmm.... the lesions alone would make me think MS but possibly strokes... the strokes could cause the vision loss (I had one 2 years ago) but those are very life threatening. You MRI, did they also do one on your spine? I have what's called Chiari Malformation type 1 and it can sometimes cut off blood supply to the brain, which could cause lesions. I imagine, they would have saw that on you...

@sns_b With Lupus, they'd actually have to do a very specific blood test but when I saw your son's lymphomas that thought lupus. It can be hereditary and also cause lesions on the brain similar to MS. Have they ordered a double stranded DNA test for either of you? I'm so sorry you are going through this. I hope for both of you that they figure it out soon. I'm noticing so many young people starting to experience this.

@sns_b Very odd question but aside from the very extreme symptoms you both have, are you otherwise healthy from common colds and things like that when normally everyone else gets them? For years I noticed I'd maybe get 1 small cold a year and bounce back pretty quickly. Little did I know, it was always because my body was in attack mode!

@metamorphoasis weird but yeah before this Covid stuff we never ever got sick . Now we get sick sometimes. And never got tested for lupus, Iโll put that in my notes for the docs . Iโll post my mri so you can see what it says ๐ I have a good feeling youโll be able to read it better then me lol
