stay strong i know the road is long. Iโm an east coast paddler and we held a fundraiser race in NJ in October - over 10K went to the Maui Food Bank and a few other groups. Doing what we can!

Oh my goodness this is ALL so heartbreaking but it makes my heart happy that many have at least made it to get care at the shelter! I'm am such a big animal lover.. I can't stand to see the sweet babies hurting. I hope many more get reunited! Or at least get adopted into new loving homes with people that will love and care for them. God bless those babies ๐พ๐๐พ

Thank you for posting this. It's hard to find out where donations will do the most good for the endless recovery efforts in Maui. As an animal lover I can empathize with the trauma animals and their people have been going through since the fires. I have limited income but now I intend to make a donation to the Humane Society because of this post! Thanks and have a Blessed New Year ๐

I can relate to all you express about donating & making the right choice where. I can say the Maui Human Society is amazing when it comes to caring & placement. I too greatly empathize, so much that Iโve ended up with many many adored rescues.

@gyspymama84 God bless you and the work you do. I just said a quick prayer for all the displaced and suffering people and animals there. It made me sick to see Lahaina burning. What a tragedy! I havenโt been back since the fire (one of my very favorite places in the world) and I think Iโll just bawl like I did watching it happen live on TV. God bless you all ๐ฉท๐ฉท๐ฉท
