I bought these shoes at a consignment store, knowing nothing about them except that the design was so cool. The shiny black bubble sole has a foam layer above it, reminiscent of the Adidas Ultraboost foam. There's so much more! The grid-like rubber pattern where the laces attach look like the grid on the Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro. The beautiful graffiti brocade grey and black pattern that surrounds the ankle and heel (and peeks through the clear side window on the exterior). The words "VERY TRENDY" embossed on the interior side to parallel the window.The rubbery 2-stripe loop in back, and the easy-on pull tab on top of it. The (faux?) suede tip at the front. .The white-on- white flame pattern. Cushioning throughout, emphasized on the tongue and heel interiors. Faux leather body, I believe. No idea what the words mean, but the shoes are a great conversation piece. Made in China, Size 42= US 8.
