UGG moccasins women’s size 5 black and purple bow

Used Ugg moccasins, US 5, UK 4, EU 35. Haven’t been worn in many years and were in storage. One of the purple bows has a knot of thread still attached while the other shoe does not. Purchased so long ago I’m unsure if this thread was meant to be kept on or not.
