Tyrone Crystal was a crystal manufacturing company in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, known for its glass and crystal products, but closed in 2010, but its legacy lives on through the Tyrone Crafted Glass, a community-based glassworks that aims to revive the art of glass cutting. Tyrone Crystal was founded in 1971 by Catholic priest Fr Austin Eustace as a solution to rising unemployment in the area. The company became popular for wedding and retirement gifts in the 1970s and 1980s. This set is in excellent condition but boxes are well worn. I have used it for special occassions for cake and pie cutting. It was a gift but I am now retired and don't have many occassions to use them. I hope someone can come to enjoy the quality of this crystal and use for many occassions.
