Two Vintage Guaitil Costa Rica Etched Pottery Vases - 3.25" tall

These hand painted vases are made with clay, which is fired to make ceramic pottery, but the inside of the vase is more clay like. The artwork on them is beautiful, displaying symbols as are typical of Guaitil Pottery. Each is unique in shape and design. These vases have some wear around the openings. The smaller vase has a chip on the rim, but it does not affect its use. The vases had been used for candle holders, so even though they were thoroughly cleaned, there may be some residues of wax. Wonderful vases to display with other vases in a collection or to use on their own. Get or give! Height of both vases: 3.25" Width of both vases: 3"
