I remember the August afternoon I bought the “lipstick” print skirt in this bundle at Lord and Taylor on a trip to Boston, thinking I would put it to good use. The other animal patterned skirt, barely worn—sigh! These two vintage Jones New York skirts in autumn shades are so versatile—wear each with a twin sweater set for work or a frilly black blouse for evening. Each skirt is full enough to have a bit of flowing swirl, with just the right weighted drape to be slenderizing. Size 6 and a generous size 4, each has a yoke that allows for variance in waist size. The animal print has three buttons with a zipper and measures 36inches from waist to hem. The beige and persimmon print has a hook and a zipper and measures 35 inches from waist to bottom hem. Although Jones New York always recommends dry cleaning, they’re polyester and with care, could be hand laundered and hung to dry. Gently worn, excellent used condition.
