Do they measure the size 9 or the 9.5 if they are both the same in length? And is the toe piece the same distance from the back of the shoes on both pair?

@jgilbert50 they are from 2 different manufacturers.
I measured them. They both measure 10 inches from tip of toe to tip of heel
they both measure same from thong to end of shoe. the new one,size 9 has a closed back and the other one is open

the toe piece to the back of the shoe is the same on both, but because the used shoe has an open back that .ay account for a more relaxed fit.
