Tussar Silk Embroidered Shawl

Handloom 100% tussar silk wrap or dupatta or shawl. Very unique. About 43 x 92 inches. Embroidery is exquisite and hand sewn. From Bengal, India. This is an older piece and you will see the design drawn under the embroidery. Some of the design was never sewn over. These are not considered to be flaws but you have to appreciate this as art. I don’t want a buyer to be disappointed. This is fragile silk and I have tried to photograph some tiny holes on border. You have to look for them carefully. Overall in excellent condition. Colors are hard to describe as they appear different in different light. All I can say is this is a beautiful textile for a collector or connoisseur of beautiful garments.
