No chips, cracks, or scratches, other than what the potter incorporated into his design. The redware spots around the edges are not chips, they are glazed. From Workshop of David T Smith, Turtle Creek Potter Chris Woods, Morrow, Ohio. Signed and dated. Primitive Colonial era- folk art style 4 3/4” x 3 5/8 Flower Trinket Dish reproduction - intentionally made to look old, distressed, and well used - hand crafted with redware slab formed and dried over a wood mold - slip painted - finished with an apparent crackled glaze, and kiln fired. Not for food use - for display purposes only. Backside is stamped "lead glaze not for food use.” Listing does not include the plate easel - flower dish only.
