Turquoise and Silver Navajo Necklace

This is an EXQUISITE vintage Navajo sterling silver Squash Blossom necklace featuring bright & BEAUTIFUL Morenci turquoise! The turquoise is a subtle blend of VIVID light blues with scatterings and chunks of warm brown matrix and a few tiny sparkling pieces of silvery iron pyrite.......sooooo pretty! The cabochons are all perfectly secure and GORGEOUS! The cabochons are set in deep smooth bezels that have been hand notched to form a scalloped edge, encircled with smooth silver and handmade silver raindrops. The side blossoms have a gracefully fluted, heavy gauge silver petal beneath each turquoise setting. The naja is comprised of a triple crescent of silver shanks; the 2 outer bands are heavy hand wrought carinated silver and the center band is a thick rope of sterling silver. 4 small cabochons are arranged around the arms of the naja, with a fabulous centerpiece of double settings and raindrops. The handmade silver bench beads are strung, along with the naja and side blossoms, on silver foxtail chain that fastens with a traditional hook-and-eye clasp.
