I purchased these and they fit great with thin socks, but I like wearing really thick socks (I wear a 10 normally). Wound up with two pairs: one is a gift and one was purchased by me. Plush shearling lines the shaft of the boot, and a thinsulate layer is inside the rubber portion. These are brand new, with tag - the box is a bit beat up but these boots are beautiful.
