anjacobs1982 Hi Jon. Actually all TAD Gear (what it was called) was initially made in China due to the stitching process/machines needed for eVent and Schoeller products. In fact ALL of the Arcteryx stitchers have a Chinese background and/or are trained by the Chinese. I'm guessing you're a "new fan boy"? Sometimes it's better to remain silent then show your ignorance ;-)

martinfrrr Apologies-just got back into town. Yes, some early TAD gear were made overseas (Black as well as Green labels) as well as some current pieces (my praetorian, therium, vortex, secret service sweater). But these go not detract from the quality and excellent craftsmanship that TAD is known for.

With my all too frequent visits to the SF store, I get to see and feel these excellent, well made and quality pieces (even though some are made overseas) made to TAD’s exacting standards and attention to detail. All pieces are checked and thoroughly vetted before given the approval for release. It’s why I have and always will be a TAD customer.
