It adds a new mechanic of "Temple Blessings" and a new map (of the US), but the rest of the mechanics are the same. Instead of claiming track and placing trains you claim a trail and place covered wagons. Instead of train cards, you have provision cards (Corn, Wheat, Horseshoes, etc.)
