Travel Coat in a Textured White Crinkle Nylon 1960s Mod

This is an amazing coat. 1960s Travelcoats by Naman which specialized in coats that travel well, as the name implies. Originally from a boutique in Laredo. The fabric is a silky, intentionally wrinkled white nylon that feels amazing, drapes when worn, and won't wrinkle when carried or even folded up during travel. A great lightweight, lined coat for everyday wear, not just airline travel. The style is dressy with a nod to mod, a small-point, thin, rounded collar, big black square buttons and pockets. A fitted, column style of coat. The buttons are crisp and add a pop of color to the white coat. The buttons could be replaced with your color style or shape preference, but I love the black. Condition: Excellent overall. Despite the no-wrinkle design, it could use a little pressing in a couple of spots, one cuff in particular, after being stored for a few decades, to line up the hem and lining. The inner lining is loose at the bottom, by design I believe, which allows for easy tailoring on the inside seams if the coat needs a little shaping for you. There is an elastic loop at the collar that slips over a clear button to hold the buttoned-side in place. It's a tad stretchy and I would replace it one day since its 70 years old and will eventually fail. Very small, modern XS-S.
