marnielynn831 @ladyobirds Hi there, and thanks for considering a trade. Let me explain how it works; I have done many trades where it’s of equal value in merchandise. Once merchandise has been decided by both parties you bundle those items together. Once bundled both sellers change the asking price of each item to $3 once that price is changed the buyer can buy it ASAP (poshmark policy will not let us sell/trade. an item lower than $3) the buyer is also responsible for shipping costs

marnielynn831 Example: You want a tiara I have, and so I change the original asking price to $3, and once you accept the offered bundle you also pay to ship, it's as simple as that! 😉 I suggest if there is more than one item to trade that they are bundled and everything changed to $3 in the bundle that way it’s all at once to save on any additional shipping

ladyobirds @marnielynn831 gosh, thanks for taking the time to "school me", lol. Now, the other trader also ships the same time? Have you ever had someone not send "your" items? How would that work, just bad feedback or karma? Have you been leery about anyone or do they have good feedback? I would have none to start with. I did a "trade" with someone that we both paid the same amount....not really a trade, I guess.

marnielynn831 @ladyobirds hi there Lady, all good questions.. it’s good to be cautious when making a trade, I always make sure to correspond with the seller and get a feel beforehand. I have actually made a trade with someone for a Chloe bag I had listed $2450.00 and she was selling luxury clothing, she traded me about 14 pieces of clothing and I believe 4 pairs of shoes for my bag, that was an incredible trade. Keep in mind Poshmark does not insure trades. It’s a risk, but all mine have been worth it.

ladyobirds @marnielynn831 WOW! What a wonderful trade that was!! Both were satisfied. What recourse would there be if one wasn't satisfied with the transaction? How do you know if authentic items? I guess sometimes it's a chance taken.? Thank you so very much for taking the time to answer my questions. You are so kind! I may try with a smaller priced item. 😊
