jrbalidio Hi … it’s me from @iluisa show over weekend. I wanted to ask u about the items u said to use to Clean the leather for designer bags that would be safe to restore. I wrote it down but my husband threw away my paper he thought it was scratch paper 🤦🏻‍♀️ Please let me know. Someone referred Fiebings leather lotion but still doesn’t bring the best … please let me know 🙏🏼

amppp2017 @jrbalidio It depends on the leather. If you could provide me with the type of bag and leather, then I can safely recommend a product. It also depends on what type of restoration is required. For example, vachetta leather is vegetable-tanned leather, requiring special products to prevent rapid expansion, severe cracking, and darkening. Pig skin and caviar (calfskin) leathers require a different restoration process with certain products. Can you provide me with more information?

amppp2017 @jrbalidio Water stains on vachetta leather are difficult to get out. I recommend using "Luvin My Bags" 4-step system to clean and protect your vachetta leather monogram bags. It's safe for the vachetta and the coated canvas.

jrbalidio Thank you so much. I also remember you saying something about a product call Apple something if I not mistaken.. for cleaning stains maybe on material. Cuz I do have Tory Burch canvas type and also gucci

amppp2017 @jrbalidio Apple is a protector. For material, use Zote soap and a soft, horse-hair-bristled brush. For more difficult stains, use Amodex. However, be careful not to get your leather wet because it will swell, stain, and discolor. Use the brush to lather and scrub, then wipe with a damp cloth. No running water. The 4-step system I recommended for vachetta leather has a protectant. However, protectants can only do so much to prevent staining. keep a plastic bag with you at all times, just in case

amppp2017 @jrbalidio you need to purchase the luvin my bags set for the vachetta. Those same products can be used on the coated canvas. Use brasso cleaner for the hardware with extreme care. If it gets on the vachetta, it will stain or possibly destroy it. I recommend covering everything but the hardware when using it. Use the set and follow the instructions. That set will last you a long time. DoNOT use products like leather CPR. Those contain wax and will ruin your bag.
