I found an almost identical brooch on Etsy and utilized some of the language in the description below in quotes. I cannot vouch for the authenticity but this did come from my Grandmother's estate. "This is a topaz art glass filigree brooch from the 1940s. This beautiful flower designed brooch has citrine and topaz glass rhinestones and accented with faux pearls. Each of the flower petals is filigree and gives the brooch a three dimensional look. The back layer is also filigree." There is one tiny chip in the glass that I tried to show in the video. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. There are no markings indicating where this was made. "After WWII, Germany was divided into four sectors: American, British, French, and Soviet. In 1946, there was a guarded border between West Germany and East Germany. Then in 1952, the border between the two was closed until it was reopened again in 1989. Due to the history, it is possible to date some of the jewelry made in Germany. Jewelry made before 1949 is marked GERMANY, but jewelry made after that time up until 1990, is marked WEST GERMANY. Jewelry made after 1990 is again marked GERMANY."
