TopShop Chelsea boots

TopShop Chelsea boots. On the bottom of the shoe it says 39/9. But in the shoe description online it says these shoes run 1 whole size too small. These shoes would best fit someone who wears 7.5-8. I wear 8.5-9 and I can get my foot in the shoe, but walking was very uncomfortable. Worn once.
