12hashkl @allthingzglam second...the Lorac Pro 3 Pallet doesn't have the digital bar code on the pallet or on the box. I noticed some other changes in the centering of the words on the back of the Chocolate Bar box as well...

vaultedcloset @12hashkl I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry. I have never sold or bought fake makeup a day in my life. Nor do I ever plan on doing so. I can guarantee you that any palette that you have received from me is 100% Authentic. I've never had anyone purchase makeup from me, and I have hundreds of love notes that you can check from buyers and has never had anyone accuse me of selling fake makeup.

vaultedcloset @12hashkl I own a Chocolate Bar palette and it is authentic and the names are in fact printed on the palette. The display in Sephora may be from an older version, which is how it was made before.

vaultedcloset @12hashkl My advise is if you purchase something online and is not sure if it is authentic or not, take it to your local Ulta or Sephora and have it authenticated.

vaultedcloset Also the best way to tell if a Lorac palette is fake is usually by the feel of the palette itself. The Lorac palettes have almost a rubbery feel to the packaging. All except the Unzipped palettes. If I were to ever sell fake makeup I would love to think I'm honest enough to state the facts, and list it as just that. Thanks!

12hashkl @allthingzglam the digital bar code missing on the Lorac pallet on the pallet itself and the box still concerns me because I can't see that being a packaging change the company could make. But I do see how Sephora could still be selling a slightly older version of the Chocolate Bar. Like I said, I wanted to ask before assuming.

vaultedcloset @12hashkl Actually, I stand corrected. Because I went to do some serious research. Only the box of the Lorac Pro 2 has a scan code which is on the right side of the box only. It is not on the palette itself. Thanks!
