vandy_e @helenyan16 THANK YOU!! That’s so INCREDIBLY SWEET & MOST THOUGHTFUL of YOU!! I TRULY APPRECIATE IT!! We have a yellow lab too. When he was a pup, he let me put clothes on him. He looked adorable!! !! He was the largest in the the litter, with a huge block head. Now, he’s 90lbs!! Labs are the BEST!!

vandy_e The I’m so sorry you lost your precious fur babie!! I can empathize!! Our female, went into kidney failure. We went to 3 different vets for options. They were all the same. I felt comfortable putting her to “sleep”. She wasn’t in pain yet. We were told in 48hrs or less, the pain would set in. I held her head & sang “You are my Sunshine” to her, fighting through tears. She was wagging her tail as she drifted off. I miss her everyday!!

helenyan16 @vandy_e OMG I read your message just now and I am bawling. My girl had cancer - she survived that then she had ultimately died of kidney failure. We had the vet come to our house and I held her in my lap when she went while I stared in her eyes and I told her I don't want her to suffer and that it was ok for her to go and be free. I swear I saw tears come out of her eyes. I still cry for her and it's been over a year.

vandy_e Just read your text & I’m full of tears!! Ironically, Lucy survived cancer!! She had treatment @ Vanderbilt. That was several years b/f the kidney failure!! We thought, she battled cancer like a champ!! Her vet must be wrong about the diagnosis. We ended up @ her vet. We thought of having them come to our house. We were worried it would have a negative impact on Luke!!

vandy_e We were back for a final diagnosis. I went to our vehicle & cried for almost an hour. I didn’t want her to see me crying, thinking I would upset her. My husband stayed with her, until I felt I could get through it. I can’t believe I actually was able to get through the entire song!! It was so horrific & she wasn’t crying like your your fur baby!! I know that just tore your heart apart!!

helenyan16 @vandy_e my husband had taken a picture of her staring into my eyes and as she left this world and you see my silhouette in her eyes. She left staring at her Mommy and was at peace. I hate that our fur babies don't live that long. But they teach us the greatest gift of love - pure untarnished unconditional love. Xoxo

vandy_e I was checking offers I made. I didn’t see that your husband took pics. We have sweet & thoughtful husbands in common as well❤️❣️ Daniel, took a video of me singing & her not knowing anything was wrong!! I’m grateful for it now. When he told me that he recorded us, I wouldn’t watch, too painful😂!! That’s the only time I’ve ever seen tears streaming down is face!! I looked up @ him after she passed.

All though, I ended up working w/Autistic children, I’m a great “sounding board” & listener❤️❣️ You can call me anytime, seriously🥰😢!! Even if it’s to talk about HAPPY TIMES/THINGS!! vandy_e @helenyan16 I’m envious!! I lived in Long Island until 2017. I lived in Huntington, Oak Beach, when the girl went missing. I woke up to the helicopters!! The Sheriff sent officers door to door. No one had seen her. We were @ the opposite end. They found the bodies of Craig’s list call girls. I was freaked out. We move to Babylon & then Bright Waters. Can you believe they found the serial killer, after all these years?!
