jas65000 @dfisher453 I’m a little concerned about a couple things I’m seeing and not seeing. Can you send me a pic of the bottom of both shoes. I’m also concerned about how deep the scuffs are on the tip and if it has to be filled or can be buffed out. Lastly I see water marks/damage on the side of the shoe. If bad it gets worse with a polish. Can send me a private offer. I’ve sent the picture to a cobbler and he’s already quoted me a hefty quote to restore not including the bottoms depending on wear.

dfisher453 @jas65000 the soles definitely need to be redone and this is the main reason for the discount. The scuffs are just that, scuffs and not notches in the leather. The damage seen was not sufficient to the point of penetration.

jas65000 @dfisher453 thank you for the reply and offer but at that price I’m going to have to pass on these shoes. A good resole can cost upwards of $200 for quality bottoms. Additionally the wrinkles on the bottom indicate potential water penetration which could indicate interior damage. Thank you again for the offer. I’m sure someone with the means and time could breath some new life into these.
