llx1221 do these hold a standard size taper candle

chcj212 the candle holder measures apron. 7/8 of an inch. I placed the only taper candle I have in it and candle is just a little smaller than holder so a little loose. I will add some pix to listing so that you can see.

chcj212 If your taper is bigger than this, it can be trimmed off to fit. If smaller, you can drip candle wax into holder to hold taper in place. I also have a "ring" that can be placed on base of taper to make it fit. Your consideration is appreciated! I am also going to list another pair of tin sconces if you want to take a look at them.
