@rosemaryfarrugi hi, thank you for asking. Yes, it can definitely fit an iPad and phone at the same time. It does lay flat on your back when worn. I am out of town until tomorrow evening. I will post a couple pictures of the actual measurements and my iPad and phone in it if you would like me to. 😊

I’m just not sure my earphones their the over the head ones will fit. I will consider this to see if it fits what I need. Thank you again!
