2 Vtg Tiffin Franciscan Rambler Rose 7.75” Water Wine Goblets Gold Rim Optic. Set of 2 Made by Tiffin Franciscan 1940s. The Athens design features 16 optical panels rising from bowl base to the rim. The rim has an ornate 1/2” gold band with another 1/8” gold highlight band below. The bowl rests on a 3-3/8” stem with a slight bulb resting on a 3” diameter base w/ a fine gold circumference band. These glasses were designed for more formal dining or entertainment occasions. The optical panels with the gold trim give an elegant appearance.
