This is gorgeous. The description said it is missing a piece. What is it missing?

@amerika143 one piece in the top edge where the light fits thru, so would not actually be visible when in use. look at the first picture and you can see it.

How would it attach to a lamp?

@salliesnook it's a hanging lamp glass shade. look at similar lamps to help you see how they work. your local lighting store can help you with properly attaching it if needed.

This Tiffany STYLE shade is badly damaged with a missing piece of glass on top and the dragonfly wings coming off. Without that missing glass piece on top you cannot put the metal piece to make it a hanging lamp or table lamp due to the glass weight. what is the minimum you would take repair is expensive.

100 % NOT TIFFANY 🤦♂️🤣🤦♂️ what you have is a badly damaged semi poorly constructed lampshade, worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, which isn’t anywhere near the price you’re asking, unfortunately

@shoe_ru yes I know it's not tiffany, but what is your opinion of "badly damaged" or "semi poorly constructed " based on ?

shoe_ru
@shwill69 based on my wife viewing the item. She is an art instructor for Armstrong glass and peaches stained glass courses to people around the country. Not trying to be mean, just letting you know what you can expect if an offer is to come in. Someone did spend a lot of time making this, but someone’s gonna have to spend an awful lot of time fixing it, as well.

@evowoman The missing piece is not that hard to replace, so the repair cost I would have to disagree with it being expensive. As for what I will take for it, make me an offer if you are interested. thanks.
