Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Ginkgo Leaf Brooch : Original Rare Vintage Design

This unique piece of Tiffany & Co. jewelry was purchased in 2001 in Denver, CO and given to my Grandma Lois on her 90th birthday. It was worn only 4 times and contains the original box, original dust bag, original receipt and the sterling silver care card. Also included is a Grandma Lois note on the bottom of the box 💕 This Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Ginkgo Leaf Brooch was designed by by Angela Cummings. Cummings was born in Austria in 1944 and moved to the US with her family when she was only three years old. She went back to Europe to art in Italy earning her degrees in Gold-smithing and Gemology. After graduation at age 23, she moved back to NY and immediately joined Tiffany & Co. in 1967 where she remained until 1984. After creating her first full collection under her own name in 1975, she became one of a small group of well-known, innovative jewelry designers (along with Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger, and Elsa Peretti) associated with Tiffany. The beauty of an Angela Cummings jewelry design is undisputed, but the comfort it provides to the wearer is always a top priority.
