Large antique sterling silver gold wash blade ice cream server by Tiffany & Co in the English King pattern. Monogram appears to be R Beautiful large and substantial ice cream server in Tiffany's intricate and decorative version of a King pattern, which were very popular in the late 19th century. The M mark dates this item to manufacture under the directorship Edward Moore, 1873-91. Tiffany box and pouch are not included. Measures approx 11 1/4" long" long, 2 1/2" wide at widest point across blade. Weighs approx 161.9g, 104.1dwt Marked TIFFANY & CO STERLING SILVER PAT 1885 M Very nice condition, with some light tarnish and slight surface scratches. Gold wash is slightly fading.
