A pendant-brooch designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany Co.
This is a very rare vintage piece of jewelry, created in New York by Paloma Picasso for the Tiffany Co. Studios, back in the 1989. This beautiful pendant-brooch was crafted in the shape of a star, with Greek revival patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and finished with a delicate hammered patterns. It is fitted at the reverse with a hinged double pins bars and a security trombone lock to wear as a brooch and a customized ring to wear into a chain or necklace.
Amethyst: Mount in the center in a four-prongs setting, with 1 round steps cut (16.5 x 10 mm) of a natural vivid violet Amethyst of 13.28 carats.
