Zig Zag earrings designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany Co.
Geometric pair of drop earrings, created in New York city by Paloma Picasso at the the Tiffany Co. studios, back in the 1982. The design of the Zig-Zag shape is very characteristic from the Memphis art movement very popular in the decade of the 1980. These earrings were crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and are fitted at the reverse with posts for pierce ears and security butterfly backs.
Weight: 5.70 grams (3.65 Dwt.).
Measurements: 45 mm by 8 mm (1.78 x 0.32 Inches).
Hallmarks: Each earring is stamped at the reverse with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the 18kt gold and signed in full, "TIFFANY CO. .750 PALOMA PICASSO 1982".
