Checkerboard earrings, designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany Co.
This is a beautiful vintage geometric pair of earrings, created in New Yor City by Angela Cummings for Tiffany Co. back in 1982. These clip-on earrings have been carefully crafted with a squared shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and embellished with an inlaid setting of 12 carved square pieces of natural blue lapis lazuli, creating an interesting checkerboard geometric pattern. They are fitted at the reverse with comfortable French omega backs for fastening clips. The post option for pierced ears can be easily added.
Weight: 17.8 grams (11.42 Dwt).
Measurements: 20 mm by 20 mm (0.80 x 0.80 Inches).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped at the reverse with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the .750/.999 gold and signed as follows, "TCO 1982 18KT".
