Pair of earrings designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany Co. Iconic elegant pair of clips on earrings, created in New York city by Angela Cummings at the Tiffany studios, back in the 1978. These earrings has been crafted with a bombe shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. They are embellished with twenty-four free forms made up in yellow gold, which are inlaid in the carved black jade. This kind of model is one of the most popular design made by Cummings. This model is actually discontinued. They are fitted at the reverse with omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option for pierced ears can be easily added. Weight: 20.2 grams (12.95 Dwt.). Measures: 23 mm by 18 mm by 10 mm (0.91 x 0.71 x 0.40 Inches). She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retire
