Boho Leather Crossbody by Three Birds Nest. This brown Leather Crossbody is by Karen Kell herself. It's called Mexicali. Genuine Leather. Has adjustable straps. The stick is missing. I used the leather strap to tie it. Lost it the first week. Only used a few times. Has small paint mark in front. Bag has scratches. Such a beautiful bag. Also very clean inside.

madamemuse Love love love Karen Kell. I have an original KKC leather + labradorite cuff I wear nearly every day. Do you have anymore original pieces by her, and do you still have the turquoise 3BN version of her cuff? Thank you

zarasha1 I sold the cuff on another site. If I get anymore I will definitely inform you. I love her leather pieces as well. I really hope she brings back her bags. I want to contact her and ask her why she is not selling her bags anymore.

madamemuse @zarasha1 Right! I love her pieces and wish she’d bring them back. I tried contacting her via Facebook since that’s the only contact info I could find. I was told there was something in the works, but that was well over a year ago. I believe she sold her cuff design to Three Bird Nest. I’ve purchased several from them because I love the design, but I wish they were made with genuine stones–especially for the price.

zarasha1 @madamemuseI I didn't even realize they were not real stones. Honestly for the price of those cuffs they honestly should be real stones. I have jewelry in my shop made of real stones and crystals. You know how it goes. When it not coming from a known designer it's not even looked at. Now that you told me this I am going to keepy bag. I thought I can probably get another one. I hope she makes more. I truly love her stuff, but she should be using real stones. They not that expensive.

madamemuse @zarasha1 Yeah totally. My first KKC cuff was purchased at a local boutique when Karen Kell was still making them. It’s an original piece with a stunning, authentic labradorite stone. My all time fave. The others I’ve purchased from 3BN are nice, but I wish they used real stones especially when they are selling for the same price as the originals. Like you said, authentic stones are really not that expensive.

madamemuse @zarasha1 I found another designer out of Australia who makes similar leather + stone cuffs. Look up Buffalo Girl. Her pieces are spendy but they’re beautiful.

zarasha1 @madamemuse Omg their stuff is unbelievable. I'm in love. They actually use real quality stones for their cuffs. I wonder if they have sales. I'm going to stalk that store for sales. The are so beautiful. Thank you for introducing them to me. I would love to get some for myself.

aprilwine67 @madamemuse I love her designs as well and have bought 2 bracelets from 3 bird nest and they feel like plastic to me and the stones are fake...cheap knock offs for way too much money! I wish I could find authentic ones for sale ☹

madamemuse @aprilwine67 Totally agree. Bummed 3BN bought her design because the quality isn’t there. I was so obsessed I bought every color but I never wear them because the stones are subpar plastic/composite. I bought a KKC original in labradorite years ago from a local shop for the same price Three Bird Nest sells theirs for. Disappointing. Should’ve bought the REAL deal when I had the chance.
