I'd like everyone to meet my newest baby Diva. She's a Spanish Mustang and just so sweet. I have a total of 11 horses, which include my Thoroughbred, my biggest spoiled baby, a retired racehorse She'sasexycowgirl, and two American Quarter Horses, Max and Thunder. I've been riding since the age of 3 and used to compete, but now just enjoy the ride!!

hhudson I see you have a retired race horse, my daughter wants to be a thoroughbred trainer. Horses are her passion as they seem to also be yours too. Good luck sweetie!💛

faery47 @hhudson we actually have 2 retired thoroughbreds at our house but I gave one to my friends since they were both given to me by their trainer. They had also given me another one that I gave to my cousin and that one was the great grandson of Secretariat.

faery47 @angesuarez24 @hhudson I definitely love my Thoroughbred because she is my big baby. She follows me around licking me and trying to dig cinnamon candy out of my pockets because she loves it as much as I do. But I've always dreamed of owning a mustang and I finally have one. Lol. I have so many animals because every time someone needs to find a good home for any animal, they contact me. I have 4 dachshunds, 3 parrots, 21 ducks, a snake and a total of 11 horses. Lol. Everyone asks to bring their children to our zoo.

faery47 @angesuarez24 my horses are my saving grace and my best friends. Anytime I'm feeling depressed or just need to clear my head, everyone knows that they can find me in the pasture talking to my horses or saddling them up because time in the saddle helps any problems I have. Lol

luvmyqh6 @faery47 I love your horse Diva!! In my profile is my sweetheart Gunner, he is a quarter horse/thoroughbred! I use to have 4 other paint horses which use to keep me very busy and I use to be at shows every weekend with them! I retired to just riding for pleasure now with my favorite I raised him from when he was 6 months old! Enjoy your new sweetie!!❤🐴

faery47 @angesuarez24 I feel the same way about animals. If I could, I'd care for and feed all the hungry and neglected animals I could. I'll definitely keep posting pictures of all of my horses as they each come visit daily. They are in a 30 acre pasture so they come home daily to eat, to get treats, and of course just for some quality time. Lol. They are all so unique. I've always loved horses and dreamed of the day I'd be able to have another horse since my childhood horse died. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to be blessed with all of them and they were actually all given to me. Lol. I guess my prayers were really answered!!

cindystuff I considers myself a VERY lucky pre-teen through the age of 20 girl. While I did my early learning to ride on an old retired race horse, at the same time, with my fathers help, we were breaking my love, a mustang from a friends ranch in Montana. She was the most beautiful animal I had ever seen. It took a while, but she became the best friend any person could have. She new when I was sad and needed some extra love and gentleness and when I was happy and wanted to run as fast as she could go. She and I also became quite good at barrel racing especially for not having any type of professional training. I learned by watching and she quickly figured out what I was asking her to do and did it well. She was very nimble and sure footed. I loved Sugar Babe so much but I had to sell her when I was moving away to go to college. Sorry about rambling but I could talk about her and those days forever. It all seems like yesterday and I am now 55 years old!!!

faery47 @cindystuff My retired racehorse has been my best friend, confidant, my sanity and everything in between since the day I got her. At first, she wouldn't allow any other horses near me because she was the only horse we had for almost a year but now she realizes that she isn't being replaced and that we just gave her a few companions. Lol. As for my Diva, and believe me, the name suits her perfectly, I've always wanted a mustang so when she was offered to me free of charge, I didn't hesitate or even bother to talk it over with my husband. Lol. I simply stated that I'd be back soon and showed up with this little beauty. The lady had her from 6 months old but hadn't worked with her in over 2 years and she is 8. She said that she just never felt comfortable with her because she spooks easily but she must've been meant for me because the very next day I saddled her up and we bonded immediately. So now I have two amazing horses that I connect with but it's different with each of them. Cowgirl is my pampered sweetheart who follows me around licking me while Diva is very bossy and sassy with a wild spirit and doesn't trust anyone but me completely. It's so amazing to be on her back and she just senses what I want and I feel like I'm part of her.

cindystuff I so understand what you mean by being a part of your Diva!! That's how it was with Sugar and I. I would ride her for hours up in the mountains near Ventura Ca. where I grew up and never felt alone for a single second, or I would ride with friends or bring a girlfriend with me to ride one if our other horses. We had so much fun growing up and I think it kept me from getting into TOO much trouble!!!!! Thank you for letting me talk to you about Sugar. I'm so jealous of you that you have your horses as an adult. Lucky lucky you !!!
