almostpennylane @wendymainsmays i collect coins and have many 1944 pennies. The only reason that 43 is worth money is because pennies were struck on steel that year and the copper 43 is a coveted error coin. Maybe you should read up on coins...

antaresbytess Cointrackers lists 1944 S Wheat Penny for $0.08 for average condtion & up to $8 for mint condition. Look it up!

gearheadgirl50 @antaresbytess this is NOT rare!!! only if it has the error on the L in Liberty touching rim of the penny! u need to do more research.took me 2 min.its the ERROR that makes it rare and valuable plus condition.in mint condition this would be worth up to $26. but as is it's worth 8 cents!
