sherid10 First thing I thought when I saw his photo was you look so much like him. He looks like he has a kind heart. I’m so sorry for you having going go through this. I think the hardest thing I’ve ever done is dealing with the loss of my Mom. Prayers and thoughts for you and your family. My heart especially goes out to your Mom. My parents were married 57 years. bdunbarx13 I LOVE this ! My father just recently And unexpectedly died 4 months ago. The day I was released from the hospital after having my first child, his first grandson. Just a few hours before he was supposed to come over to meet him 😢And also right before my parents 38th anniversary 😢 he was my very best friend and the ONE person in this world I wanted my son to know and love, as I did.

I’m sure he will understand what an amazing grandfather he has watching over him through the stories you’ll share with him. I know it’s not the same, but you’ll keep his memory alive. lenoregarnhum @bdunbarx13 I ended up in the hospital 2 days after he passed & needed surgery. I spend 4 nights & had to write the eulogy from the hospital bed. I made it out on time to make it to the wake/funeral. Since then, I had another surgery preparing for dialysis & am getting evaluated for a kidney transplant. I don’t feel like I’ve really dealt with the loss yet. It’s still gonna hit me really hard!

cgbmgb Dear Lenore, The love you have for your Dad is exactly the same love I had for my Dad. My Dad was always there whenever I needed him with his support, with his opinion, & with his love.
